in the cards

we went to the Musee de la Carte Postale today, an amusing way to kill two hours, where we were treated to a personal tour that encompassed not only a history of the postcard but a bit of French history as well. there were 5 or 6 American examples...one of which was from Portland, Oregon. hmm...a sign perhaps? quoted Ryan: "The goddamn Postcard Museum didn't even sell goddamn postcards!"
