seeking inspiration

is it just me or is everything i see a cheesy tourist scene? lots of paper, buckets of gouche...nothing to paint.... ok, so i could do the whole inner turmoil thing, but that is just as tired... if i don't find something inspiring soon, i'll be resorting to painting the dog. and that's just sad.
